Hebei Yugang Pipe Supports The Oil Pipeline Project At Zhongshan Station Of The China Antarctic Research Expedition

Hebei Yugang Pipeline has solved the technical problems of pipeline resistance to frost cracking and ice pressure by using special materials and processes (such as ultra-low temperature tough steel) and modular design, ensuring the stable operation of the oil transportation system in the polar environment. Its pipeline system complies with the polar working condition reinforcement standards of the "Oil Pipeline Engineering Design Code" (GB 50253-2014). The Hebei Yugang Pipeline's passing of this project marks that China's polar special pipeline technology has reached the international advanced level, providing core infrastructure guarantees for the sustainable development of Antarctic scientific research.
